JSC "MRENC" occupies a dominant position in the market for the provision of services for the transmission and distribution of electricity in Mangistau region. Ninety percent of the electricity transported through the networks of JSC "MRENC" is consumed by the largest oil companies in the region.

Ensuring energy security in the region is the main strategic direction of Company. The purpose of this direction is to provide reliable power supply to consumers and create conditions for the development of the electric power industry in Mangistau region.

In order to obtain the status of regional electric grid company, JSC "MRENC" implements the project on construction of a regional dispatch center, which will allow JSC "MRENC" to participate in the balancing market of electrical energy to maintain the balance of power in the Unified power system of Kazakhstan.

JSC “MRENC” pays great attention to activities aimed at sustainable development, during which a set of measures aimed at the safety of life and health of employees, environmental protection, and creation of necessary working conditions for employees are implemented.

JSC "MRENC" will continue to work effectively and much remains to be done, according to the approved long-term development strategy of JSC "MRENC" until 2022.
